Esther Wratschko (AT; singer, choir director)
has traveled to concert stages and festivals in Austria and abroad with her ensembles Soveles, Esther & the Shvester and the Wratschko Trio. She is the artistic director of the Friling Festival (Eastern Styria, Austria) and the Vienna Klezmer Sessions and, since 2024, co-curator of the Klezmore Festival Vienna.
She has shared her deep exploration of Yiddish music as a teacher at renowned international klezmer festivals such as Yiddish Summer Weimar and Yiddish New York.
Esther studied choral conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and has since worked as the choir director of the Choir of the Carinthian Slovenian Students Association (KSŠŠD), the Vienna Bach-Händel Choir and the Superar Association.
