Anna Lowenstein (GB; violin)

is a klezmer violinist, teacher and music therapist from London.

She frequently teaches workshops both in the UK and internationally, including at Klezfest, KlezNorth (UK), and Yiddish Summer Weimar, and she has been a guest lecturer in the World Music program at the Irish World Academy of Music (Limerick, Ireland).

She has shared the stage with some of the world’s leading performers of klezmer music, such as Sir Frank London, as well as with other traditional musicians such as Natalie Haas and Alasdair Fraser.

Her theater credits include the European debut of Indecent (Menier Chocolate Factory, 2021) and the award-nominated Jewish pantomime Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Pig (JW3, 2023)

Anna's debut album, Through the Walls, was funded by Arts Council England, Help Musicians UK and Asylum Arts and was released on Adhyâropa Records in Spring 2026.
