Caravan Orchestra & Choir
Caravan Orchestra & Choir is our longstanding project in cooperation with the music department at the University of Haifa and the Music University FRANZ LISZT in Weimar. This year, the whole project will take place in the wonderul Volksmusikakademie in Freyung, Bavaria and in Weimar. A group of around 20 music students from Haifa will come to Weimar and, together with 20 colleagues from Germany, will create a 40-piece orchestra to play a contemporary mix of Yiddish, Near Eastern and Mediterranean music. If you love intercultural contexts, fascinating people and great music, then this project is for you!
