
Anna Vishnevska (UA/DE; voice, choral conducting)
performs in a wide range of music styles, from opera and sacred music to folk song and free improvisation, both in Germany and abroad.
She has performed Yiddish song with the klezmer ensemble A Mekhaye and in solo projects for many years, including as part of the artist program of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and at Jewish music festivals such as Hanse Shtetl.
Anna has shared her knowledge of the style and characteristics of Yiddish song in several workshops for children and adults. She also teaches Yiddish repertoire as a choir conductor.
Beyond singing, Anna is also a Yiddish dancer. At her concerts, she often leads dancing for the audience during instrumental tunes.
Anna holds degrees in singing and vocal pedagogy from Alfred Schnittke Akademie International in Hamburg and in sacred music from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of North Germany.
