Eyal Davidovitch (IL/DE; filmmaker, multidisciplinary artist)
is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist working in film, visual art, writing, music, podcast-making, and sociocultural projects. His practice spans directing, cinematography, editing, graphic design, illustration, painting, prose writing and original music composition.
His short story Osmosis won the first prize in the prestigious Haaretz national short story competition of 2015, and he has worked on various prize-winning short films. He co-directed the documentary The Young Kadyas, which has been shown internationally and was released in German cinemas in 2022. His feature documentary I Weld You a Color premiered at the 2023 Biberacher Film Festival.
Over the last decade, Eyal has been an active member of the Other Music Academy in Weimar, contributing as an artist, workshop leader, faculty member, and educator in various social-cultural initiatives.
Eyal studied at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem and the Marc Rich Multidisciplinary Honors Program for Humanities and Arts at Tel Aviv University. He is currently creating and dreaming in Berlin.
