Marcelo Moguilevsky (AR; clarinet, composer, multi-instrumentalist)

is justly considered one of the most virtuosic and imaginative multi-instrumentalists ever to play klezmer music. He and his partner in the Lerner Moguilevsky Duo, César Lerner have set and maintained the gold standard for imaginative, playful and deeply felt improvisations based on klezmer music for decades.

He has composed music for film, contemporary dance, video art, and theater and received a Konex Award in 2015 for best performer of the decade (clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, recorders, harmonica and piano).

Marcelo has worked with Juan Falu, Quique Sinesi and Sebastián Espósito in duos playing Argentine music. He is a founding member of the Puente Celeste quintet and is currently part of the tango and Argentinian music project Será una noche.

Marcelo is also a masterful leader of conducted orchestral improvisation, a method that he teaches in workshops throughout the world.
