Mark Kovnatskiy (DE; violin, composer)
is a highly acclaimed violinist, composer, lecturer, and expert in Yiddish dance based in Hamburg, Germany.
He has performed and taught at music festivals around the world, from the USA and Canada to Japan. He is a regular participant in a large number of international Jewish music projects, including the Semer Ensemble, Mark Kovnatskiy Ensemble, Di Yidishe Neshome, Hamburg Klezmer Band, and many others. As a soloist, Mark has collaborated with both leading klezmer artists and many classical orchestras around the world.
His own compositions, both klezmer and classical, are performed by various musical projects around the world.
