Ozan Demir (TR; kaval, zurna, duduk & more)

is an Istanbul-based multi-instrumentalist and performer working across the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, Anatolia and the Balkans. He is specialized in Anatolian wind instruments such as kaval, zurna and duduk. His practice draws from shared regional repertoires, approaching them with a contemporary yet respectful musical language.

He has been involved in numerous album projects, concerts and festivals focused on traditional music, both as a performer and collaborator.

Ozan is the founder of the band Seyyah, a project shaped around movement and cultural exchange, that navigates interconnected musical geographies through live performance. He is also a member of Komşiler, a group dedicated to researching and performing the shared Turkish–Greek repertoire and highlighting the deep cultural connections of the region.

Alongside his work on stage, Ozan is active in music production and recording. He is currently developing a label catalogue focused on culturally rooted and carefully curated releases. His work is driven by musical depth and the interest in the expressive potential of traditional forms.
