Simon Roth (GB; percussion) 

is a musician and producer working primarily in klezmer and contemporary music.

He performs around the world and is featured on several critically acclaimed recordings with artists including Chris Potter, Merlin Shepherd, Alice Zawadzki, and Frank London.

Simon’s recent projects include Ground & Sound, an audio installation for Southbank Centre's Rooftop Garden. For the Unreal Cities Beckett: Unbound festival, he devised a solo drum kit piece called MOUTH based on the monologue Not I. He also created the sound design for the radio play All That Fall.

Simon regularly works with Play for Progress, a charity that uses music and creative therapies to build resilient relationships that support and amplify the voices of unaccompanied refugees and asylum-seekers.

Informed by his studies with clown master Philippe Gaulier, Simon is currently working on his first theater solo show, Behind the Beat, under the direction of Haley McGee. He also makes experimental DIY electronic music and radio shows for Faff FM.
