Maximilian Stilke (DE; media artist, musician)

works as a media artist and musician, combining light, video, sound, and immersive live formats.

After completing his studies in psychology, he developed his interests in perception and collective interaction as well as design in a master's program in Time-Based Media at HAW Hamburg.

Since 2018, he has been working in the Hamburg club and theater scene and as a touring lighting designer. He is also a passionate photographer of concerts and festivals. He regularly designs video projections for Yiddish Summer Weimar and the Other Music Academy—most recently creating live visuals for orchestra, photos, and 3D animations as part of the interdisciplinary oratorio Glikl—A Musical Herstory (2022) and for the celebration of the Jewish UNESCO World Heritage Site in Erfurt (2024).

At the heart of his work is the connection between artistic aesthetics and technical implementation, always with a focus on emotional impact and shared experience in space.
