An homage to three original divas of Greek song with Sofia Papazoglou

Acclaimed Greek vocalist Sofia Papazoglou and the Rebetiko Band present an homage to three female vocalists from the 1930s-50s who shaped the evolution of Greek song. Drawing on their diverse Armenian and Jewish roots in Asia Minor to create Greek laiko music as we know it today, Rosa Eskenazi, Stella Haskil and Marika Ninou represent the coming together of three vital cultures that once invigorated the region. Their lasting legacy is a body of songs that remain relevant and beloved today.
