The Brooklyn-based Strauss/Warschauer Duo joins forces with Réunion Island native Zilyin Biret for an evening of klezmer music and Yiddish songs that celebrate nature and love in its many forms.

Deborah Strauss, US (violin, vocals, dance), Cantor Jeff Warschauer, US (guitar, cobza, vocals), and Zilyin Biret, RE (clarinet, poyk, vocals) draw from the listening and dance traditions in klezmer, Yiddish, Hasidic and liturgical music, adding their own original compositions and song settings to create music that is both grounded in tradition and thoroughly contemporary.
