Francesca Ter-Berg (GB; cello, music production)
is a cellist and producer known for blending klezmer music, improvisation, and electronic synthesis to create a one-of-a-kind sound.
She studied with Dan Blacksberg, Stuart Brotman, Tcha Limberger, Cookie Seigelstein, Deborah Strauss, Alan Bern and Frank London while developing her unique musical approach. Her cello playing integrates accompaniment, tenor lines, bass and melody, sometimes combined with singing.
Her critically acclaimed duo Fran & Flora with violinist Flora Curzon released its second self-produced studio album, Precious Collection, in April 2024 on Hidden Notes Records.
Francesca regularly collaborates with many prominent klezmorim and performs and teaches at international festivals including Yiddish Summer Weimar, KlezFest London, Yiddish New York, KlezMore Vienna and Fiddlers On The Move.
